Debranding Samsung M110s to Samsung i9000

Last Saturday, I discussed to you the meaning of Debranding right? This time I will let you show how to Debrand a cellphone. Example is Samsung M110s debrand it to Samsung i9000.

First and foremost is you must download the file M110s_2013_Final. It's on the google. Don't be lazy to ask always on uncle google. All my tuts are almost spoonfeeding. You must also take effort on searching for your file:) After downloading. Second is that you must also have your flasher. To be specific, you must have Odin 1.85.  So let's start.

How to flash using Odin 1.85
Now, open Odin 1.85. Click on PDA tab and browse SHW-M110S_GT-i9000_OS2.3.6_VN_2013_Final.  Before clicking the start button, you must put the unit into download mode. How to put it into download mode? That's your problem anyway..hehehe.. I'm just kidding.Very simple. Just press the HOME button and POWER ON. You will see the download image below.

Then insert USB cable and install drivers. Note, you must install all drivers, otherwise, the Odin flasher will not run. You will notice if the drivers have installed successfully because the Odin flasher will show the correct comport that will be using, and the color is yellow like you see below. The finally press START.

After flashing with Odin, power on the phone. Don't be surprize, because your cell phone has finally became Samsung Galaxy S i9000 :)

Restoring iphone4 to iOS 7 Without Error

A while ago, we have discuss about the release of iOS7. And that iOS7 is still tethered jailbreak. Still don't know what's the difference between tethered and untethered? Well, we will talk about that later on. Just sit back and relax, because we will learn about on how to restore you Iphon 4 without any error via the itune software. Ops, be sure that you have already the Itunes software installed on you PC. And you must have too your ipsw file on your PC. Of course you need a USB apple cable. Did we miss something else? Let's get started.

How to restore iphone4
First you need to install the device driver. If you haven't installed the apple driver, the device will not detect by the itunes software. So you must first install it. After installing, Itunes software will automatically open and detect your iphone4. After detecting the Itunes software will detect the version of your Iphone and display the latest iOS updates. It will prompt you if you would like to download and install the latest iOS update. Of course you have with you your ipsw file, you need to click on "NO". Then you will see the restore tab. Now, pay attention for my instructions. From your keyboard, press "shift" key, the look at to the Itunes software, press "restore" and browse your ipsw that you have downloaded. Press okay.. Sit back and relax. Wait for the operation to finish..

After restoring, you must set up your iphone.

Restoring Apple Device To iOS7

Recently iOS7 had released. Have you ever tried your apple device to restore it on iOS7? What are the special features that you have notice? For those who haven't upgrade yet to iOS7, are you not curious to gave an iOS7 on your Apple device? Why not upgrade it to iOS7 to experience the added features of iOS7? Since version 6.1.3 had stop signing, if you will restore your Apple device on iOS7, there's no turning back. I mean if you will upgrade it to iOS and you'll got an error, you can not restore it again to lower version like 6.1.3, unlesh there is an shsh blobs saved.

Why not try iOS7? Don't you know how to restore it? One of the disadvantage of iOS7, I will tell you, is that it is still tethered. By the way what is tethered? And what is untethetered? What is the big difference between these? For now iOS7 is still tethered. We will discuss this later. For now I will tech you how to restore your Apple device to iOS7. Is that ok with you:D

How to restore Iphone4 to iOS7
First thing to do or that you have is that you must have itunes software installed on your PC. You can download latest itunes on apple.com. And how to install it? Watch video below.

If you have installed you itunes software, then you are ready to restore you Apple device. But one more thing that you should have. That is your iOS firmware or the IPSW file. How can you have it? Search it on google.
Example is if I have in hand the iphone4, and I would like to restore it to iOS7. The file that I must download is like this, iPhone3,1_7.0_11A465_Restore. This is an iOS firmware that you will be using on restoring your iphone4. Well you you have different Apple device, just type on google," iphone firmware", then download your firmware.

Hard resetting O+ 8.36 is the same as other Android units. I will tell you how. Just follow instructions below. Phone must be off. Just press both VOLUME UP and POWER KEY. Unpress both keys when you see the android logo with triangular shape colored red with an exclaimation point.. Follow instructions in the image below.

What is DEBRANDING?

What is DEBRANDING of cell phones mean? Do you know why and how to debrand cellphones? Can we debrand all cell phones? If I were to describe what debranding means is just a simple word, "to change its brand or model type. Or it's simple converting the brand model into another brand model to work with a certain country or to obtain the best version which is much faster than the old version. Did you get it? It is like removing the logo of a certain operator. Like for instance the TNT logo on some hand set, when you debrand it, the logo will be remove. Of course it's a sort of reflashing the firmware. That's the main thing to do, reflashing and updating its firmware to debrand it. In other words for you to understand, let's take for example the old DCT3 3390. We often convert it into 3310 or 3315 right? And instead of choosing the firmware 3390, we choose firmware 3310 right? That's it. It's just a convertion, "to be able to work with your own network operator". Another examples are  SHW-M290k  Debrand to GT-S5660 Gio, LG900gb Debarand to GW300, M250s Debrand to I9100 and many others. Me, I've experienced Debrand the Samsung M110s to I9000. I will post a tutorial later on how to Debrand. Although the units are from other countries, we used to unlocked it first before debranding to work with our network operator here. Because after we unlock the cell phone you will notice that there is no signal. The only solution is to debrand the cell phone. Like the Samsung M110s, i reflash it to Samsung I9000, and it was very successful.

Debranding is different from unlocking. Unlocking is to make it open to all networks. It is removing all the locks so that all SIM cards will accept it. Debranding is to remove the original firmware like logo, sounds, themes and others by means of reflashing with the use of flashing tools.

Tomorrow I will show you how I debrand the Samsung M110s to Samsung I9000.

How To Root Alcatel 918N

Last time we talked about what's rooting meant. I just hope you understand it already and have an idea on why and how to root a certain cell phones. Let me tell you that rooted cell phones is different from unlocked cell phones, okay?

Today I will teach you how to root a cell phone. Specifically on how to root Alcatel 918N. All you need is your SD Card and the file SuperUserZip file. You must know also how to put Alcatel 918N into custom recovery. How? You will know later.

So to root your Alcatel 918N cell phone, just follow few steps below.
1. Copy and paste SuperUser-3.0.7-efghi-signed.zip fileon your SD Card.
2. With your handset off, put it on custom recovery by pressing together the VOLUME UP and POWER ON.
3. Select Install zip from SD Card.
4. Select Choose zip from SD Card.
5. Select the file downloaded. Then confirm update.
6. Reboot or restart the phone.
7. Then from your menu, look for the "SuperUser" icon with an Android face.
8. And if you saw it, Congratulations your cell phone has been successfully rooted.
