Here are the procedures on how to hard reset your Motorola XT530 whenever it stuck on asking for gmail account.
1. Power off the phone, press and hold volume down button and power button together.
2. Wait for the "triangle ! / Android" screen then release the volume down button.
3. Tap home pad. See image below, I encircled the home pad.
4. Navigate on-screen menu to select “Wipe” (data/factory reset) and Press OK.
5. Navigate on-screen menu to select “delete all user data” and Press OK.
6. Then reboot. Wait for device to reboot.
