;(( Need help! I got my Agua Vortex 2 weeks ago. The wifi won't work when I set it to ON. It just says "Turning on..." and proceeds to turn itself off. I've done the factory reset and still it doesn't work. I've checked in some forums and I'm told that I need to flash the phone. Now, how exactly do I go about flashing the Agua Vortex?
you need a special device or the so called "GSM Box" to flash your phone. The one called "Volcano Box" specialize on mediatek chip, spreadtrum and mtk chips for china phones
Most common problem in newer device this 2013 is that its wifi module is weak. Its hardware problem.

You mean I have to bring the unit to my|phone Philippines to flash it? Is there no other way? I've read in some android forums that they just do it themselves. But they have ROM back-ups from their suppliers. I'm currently assigned in another continent, so I was hoping I could do it myself...
you can go back to where you have purchase your phone and ask for its warranty sir.. so, are you not from philippines either? i tell you MyPhone Agua Vortex cellphone is very new for this year. and i have never tried still to reflash it from its ROM, nor have research a reference, i mean a very successful reference in flashing it... maybe if you have couple of time to wait, i will pm you right away if there is a good and tested reference on how to flash the phone.... and if not solve the problem, Leonhartgsm is correct. there is a hardware fault...
The only solution i can advice with you is to make a second opinion, go to cellphone repair shop near you to check up your phone... for the meantime i will research on the files needed to reflash your phone sir.... so be patient..
but first, you must go to where you have bought your unit for it is still under warranty...

just bought myphone vortex at napansin ko mahina sya sumagap ng wifi and sometimes it crashes and restart is this normal?
