This evening I will teach you how to hard reset Asus Nexus 7 Tablet. But before that let us first check the tablet's features and specifications. And always keep in mind that in hard resetting, all your files stored on your tablet will be erase or gone. Also, do not perform the hard reset if the battery chatge is below 75%.
Below is the specifications of the tablet taken from Asus.com.
How To Hard Reset Asus Nexus 7 Tablet
1. Power Off the tablet.
2. Press and hold POWER ON until it powers on. Then immediately press and hold Volume Down(while still pressing power on). Then you will see the word START with an arrow drawn around it.
3. Press Volume Down 2 times to designate to Recovery Mode.
4. Press Power On to restart into Recovery Mode. You will see an image of an Android Robot with a red exclaimation mark.
5. While holding down Power On press Volume Up.
6. The use volume keys to scroll or select "wipe data/factory reset". Then press Power On to run the operation.
7. The select "Yes - erase all user data. Again use Power On to do the process.
8. Reboot the system and you are done!
