How To Install(flash) Custom ROM To Your Alcatel 918N

In installing Custom ROM your Alcatel OneTouch 918N you must root first your unit. How to root? Go here to root your phone first before installing Customize ROM.

Requirements on how to install Custom Firmware.
1. Rooted phone
2. Custom Firmware, ICS_v5_by_mark.zip
3. Memory card

How
1. Copy CFW created by mark(ICS_v5) to the root of you memory card.
2. Turn off your phone and insert you memory card.
3. Go to recovery mode. Press Volume UP and Power Button at the same time. Unpress buttons if you see the android logo.
4. By using your volume key, choose "install zip from sdcard. Then press home button to select or run it.
5. The choose zip from sdcard and press home button again.
6. Then look for ICS_v5_by_mark.zip and press home button
7. Wait for the process to finish.

I have uploaded a video for you to watch. I have upgraded my Alcatel 918N. Watching my video will be better because it is 100 percent actual. From strat up to the end. Just comment if you have some questions.
