if there is an error in unlocking in samkey, some models are recommended to be flashed with eng modem in ODIN (select as CP)...we need to use patched ODIN
the content of ENG MODEM is a modem.bin
don't play with modem files (it corrupts the baseband of your unit) unless you backup everything efs,qcn,sec...sometimes writing the same modem or latest modem will not restore to the previous state of your phone(locked to one network)....you are lucky if you can restore to its previous status
the modem file was extracted from the FW itself...it is advisable before you use the modem from google without the description of the binary number...do not use it for safety reason...carelessness will lead to problem (abuno)
first, you must know the binary number of your phone....how? pls read it here
ways to determine the binary # of your samsung units
on this example:
G950U +G950U1 + G950W Eng Modem BIT5
it is easy because there is a detail that is intended for bit5(binary 5) phones
this is the scenario: after flashing using eng modem>>>>read codes in samkey>>>>sometimes the unlockcode generated from samkey will not be accepted to the phone that you are unlocking(unlock network unsuccessful) >>> try to restart your phone 3 to 5x then enter your code again....if it is still the same, You may write Stock (Original) Modem , Then ENTER CODES !!!
if you have no stock modem, just download the same FW from sammobile...write modem only(uncheck all except modem in z3x)
