Samsung starts Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow updates in Korea for Galaxy S6 and S6 edge!

Samsung has made us all wait quite a bit for the Marshmallow update and now it has finally released Android 6.0.1 for the Galaxy S6 and the Galaxy S6 edge in South Korea. The release follows a brief beta test program in which users were allowed to sign up to test beta Marshmallow firmware. We’ve already posted a lot of images of all the interface changes and new features that are included in the Marshmallow update.

It has only released Marshmallow for the Galaxy S6 and the Galaxy S6 edge today but it shouldn’t take too long for the update to arrive for the Galaxy S6 edge+ and the Galaxy Note 5 at least in South Korea. It’s unclear when Samsung is going to roll out the update for other markets. Given that it has started the rollout users in other markets may not have to wait for too long now.

Apple has added several new features in the beta of iOS 9.3 including Night Shift, secure Notes, more personalized News, an improved Health app, updates to CarPlay, and new Education features.

Night Shift:

Many studies have shown that exposure to bright blue light in the evening can affect your circadian rhythms and make it harder to fall asleep. Night Shift uses your iOS device’s clock and geolocation to determine when it’s sunset in your location. Then it automatically shifts the colors in your display to the warmer end of the spectrum, making it easier on your eyes. In the morning, it returns the display to its regular settings. Secure Notes:

Notes is one of those apps you use all the time for all kinds of things. Now you can secure the notes that contain your most personal data — such as financial details, medical info, or website logins — with a password or fingerprint. You can also sort notes by date created, date modified, or alphabetically.

The articles in For You are now better tailored to your particular interests. And to help you discover new Favorites, For You suggests trending topics and Editors’ Picks. When a story contains video, you can play it right from your feed. On your iPhone, you can view everything in landscape. And when you check for updates, the latest stories appear much faster — so you can catch up on the day’s events quickly and easily.

Improved Health Dashboard:

Apple Releases First iOS 9.3 Beta to Developers for Testing

Apple has released the first beta of iOS 9.3 to developers for testing. The build number is 13E5181d.

In iOS 9.3, the Apple Watch app can pair multiple watches at a time. However, all watches 

must be running watchOS 2.2, which is only available through the developer seed.

Apple has also provided developers with a new Configuration Profile which can be downloaded to your iPhone, iPod, or iPad for over-the-air updates.
